The Mouat family welcome you to Unst and our holiday homes have everything you need to enjoy you holiday in Shetland. Unst, the Island above all others, is a great place to visit - known for it's breath-taking views and unique location. All our properties are well equipped with original features and comfortable living spaces to ensure your holiday is restful and relaxing - your real home away from home. All Unst Self-Catering properties are located in our own croft or neighbouring working farms, our welcome baskets will include our local produce and some Island delights. Surrounded by local wildlife including rare birds and sea life, take advantage of the many walking opportunities and breath-taking beaches on your doorstep.

if you are looking for somewhere to eat then head to Victoria's Vintage Tea rooms and gift shop in Haroldswick, a short drive or a leisurely coastal walk, enjoy watching the seals sunbathe on the rocks! Serving fresh homemade scones, homemade cakes and a great lunch menu, you can be sure of a treat.
Close by you'll find lots to do and see from learning about the local history at the Unst Heritage Centre and Unst Boat Haven, where you can delve deeper into learning about Unst's unique maritime history. for a bit of viking heritage there is the replica viking long ship the skibladner and viking long house, close by is the Hermaness Nature Reserve, with many other coastal walks and beaches to explore, in the next village baltasound you will find the balti lights public bar, 3 shops, the final checkout ,skibhoul stores and bakery and h.henderson general merchant, a post office and gift shop and the local leisure center with a gym,swimming pool, plus many classes and activities.
